Turkey Hunting at River Place Hunting Preserve is something special. We have had our land under trophy management since 1990 which means you have the opportunity of a lifetime when hunting here. Your hunt will include unbeatable Southern Home Cookin, lodging, guides all over some of the best managed hunting land available. Should you choose to arrive by plane, we will arrange for transportation from our nearby airports.

COUNTRY GOES HUNTING

Turkey Hunt Details:

• Our turkey season runs from late March until early to mid May. The season limit is 3 gobblers. At the River Place hunters are allowed one gobbler per day, or 2 per trip. No Jakes and no Hens! It is not uncommon to hear many gobbles in a days hunt. Our experienced guides will do their best to assure that you get your trophy bird!
• All hunts are guided, however hunters are allowed to do their own calling
• Food plots are planted year-round for all game
• Ice machines are available at the lodge.
• A valid Georgia Big Game License is required. Hunting licenses may be purchased before hunters arrive by calling 888.748.6887 or by the internet at www.gohuntgeorgia.com
• Your lodging nights are equal to the number of days hunted (i.e. 3 day hunt = 3 nights lodging). Additional night of lodging can be arranged for only $50 per night.
• Any hunts less than three days are $450 per day. There is a trophy fee only on turkeys harvested on hunts less than three days.
• All of our prices include sales tax.
